Angel Elliott is a star in the new school of up and coming, politically saavy young journalist. She started her career in politics, as sentatorial staff for Sen. John D. Rockefeller (D-WV); while freelance writing for The Examiner.

Soon her career ambitions took her to BET, where she works in the News department, quickly accelerating from production assistant; to producing the special “BET News Presents: Yes We Can the Obama Speech Special.” She also covered the past historical election season, where she wrote and edited the BET.com blog; YOU(th) Vote!
She currently works as a freelance producer, and political columnist/producer for BET.com, while pursuing her masters degree in political science.
